Richard “Rick” M. Maxwell, 66, of Toledo, OH, died Friday, July 14, 2017, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Born March 18, 1951, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Allan G. and Betty L. (Armitage) Maxwell. Rick was a 1969 graduate from Start High School, where he played varsity baseball. He married Kathy D. Pugh on April 24, 1971. He retired from Kroger’s and formerly worked for Foodtown for 39 years. Rick enjoyed bowling and playing softball. He was an avid Ohio State, Detroit Tigers, NASCAR and Red Wings Fan.
Rick is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Kathy; daughters, Michelle (Jason) Yost and Leslie (Jason) Frontine; grandchildren, Courtney, Andrew, Kailey and Allison; brother, Robert (Chris) Maxwell; sister, Peggy (Jeff) Myers and fur babies, Maggie and Moose. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 3-7 pm, Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm.
